On April 15th,2013 I began a 7 month journey to create my first animated short film called "ALIEN2048"with zero capital, little knowledge of animation, a haunting song I created, and a ton of ambition.
I had no idea of a concept other than the theme of the song. I wrote "ALIEN2048"(the song) a few years back and it has always been very dear to me for it is about how alienated I feel from society on a whole. In an age where we are more connected than we have ever been I was noticing how isolated I had become from the rest of the world, so it was quite important to me to do something that would help me reattach myself to society but at the same time create a barrier between the viewer and I since this was such a personal subject matter. This need is where the idea of creating myself as an animated character came from. I began researching software program after software program and finally chose six different programs of which I learned each one in about one week(a 90 degree learning curve).
Than the rigorous task of creation took over, usually I would spend 12 to 16 hours each day working on "ALIEN2048" trying to create perfection for it's future viewers. At times I thought for sure I might go mad, other times I was filled with pride for my work, and than still there were days that would just end in nothing but tears out of complete frustration.
I now understand why a one person animation studio is mostly unheard of for it is almost impossible for one person to create and do all the many requirements that it takes to make one animated short film. When you watch "ALIEN2048"I hope that the you the viewer realize that this was mostly created by the hands of one artist with a single vision and not by a staff of fifteen hundred artist, thus truly making "ALIEN2048"a labor of love and dedication.
In conclusion I now realize the hours of design and animation were nothing in comparison to the daunting task I now face of trying to figure out how to get viewers to take 6 minutes and 40 seconds out of their busy lives to actually watch it. In a world so infiltrated with such incredible media made by large animation studios I think it will most likely be overlooked or pale in comparison, but this will not stop me from dreaming and doing because this is why I was created .

Windows 8 Pro;Not Ready For Consumption
I was so excited about a new windows operating system coming out that I jumped on the bandwagon and tried the RTC release, partitioned my hard drive to avoid any mishaps so I could pleasantly go back to W7.It installed beautifully and ran great except for ONE major flaw,it would not connect to the internet....After a good 30 hours of trying everything short of writing a program myself,I admitted defeat and tried to go back to W7,no dice!My system crashed leaving me to go through the delightful task of reinstalling W7,which might I add would never reinstall so I stepped down to Vista for a few months bought a new system with Windows 7 installed and swore off Windows 8 for life.Well fast forward 6 months to the new release of Windows 8 Pro,being a kind and forgiving soul I thought for sure Microsoft would by no means release a operating system without first making sure it was golden, boy was I wrong.I must admit I did learn my lesson and decided after the drama with my last system install I would put it on my Netbook, well I did and it ran flawlessly until, yes you guessed it,I tried to connect to the internet and just like before no dice no connection!I have now wasted 40 hours of my life trying to get something that is suppose to make my life easier which has been nothing but a connection nightmare!I have found more than a few flaws with the operating system one of the greatest being it will not accept any unsigned drivers, which if your aware of drivers most are unsigned so therefore it will not install and then more issues ensue, seriously microsoft,WTF?Even my OCD and my inability to take no for an answer can not change the facts that the world is not ready for Windows 8,shame on you Microsoft for not making sure your system is ready to interact with all devices before selling your operating system to the world what a major flaw in what appears to be a flawless operating system. Is this what we have come to these days, selling unfinished incomplete software just to make a buck?I gave you two chances and even paid for the second and you still whipped it out and took a wiz on me!This is a warning to the consumer,if it is not broken don't fix it,I suggest to you all at least wait until the SP 1 comes out to save yourself a lot of nightmares and connectivity issues ,Windows 8 is not ready for public consumption by any means, learn from my mistakes and save yourself some heartache!

Be careful what you ask for,you just might get it!
Greetings and hello! It is been quite some time since my last post, all apologies.A lot has happened since my last entry, the most influential being a trip to New York to film my music video in July of 2012 (The King of Dubstep) where I was shocked to be publicly identified and acknowledged for my work throughout my stay in the city. This has really threw me into a state of hiding since, and has changed the why I work.I am now being much more guarded with what I am sharing of my personal image publicly as a means to preserve my privacy. I am now embodying my 3d images I create, these 3D images will now be the public representation of Daniel X. I really had no idea that people were listening so to be addressed by strangers on the street and throughout Manhattan who felt as if they knew me was an extremely threatening experience.I have always classified myself as an introverted extrovert but I have now learned that privacy is very important to me and it is something I will continue to guard.I have a whole new respect for fame and everything that goes with it,the saying "Be careful what you ask for,you just might get it." has never resonated so loudly in my life.

New Orleans Art Discovery on Royal Street
On a recent trip to New Orleans my niece and I where leisurely strolling through the French Quarter when we stumbled upon a treasure trove of rare gems tucked away in a small quaint gallery on Royal Street!Being an artist myself sometimes its hard for me when I make eye contact with a painting to just let myself relax and enjoy the image, that is why to my surprise this was not the case when I first encountered the Tanner pieces at Tanner Gallery located at 830 Royal Street. To my utter shock these pieces were perfection! Not usually a fan of trees as a subject matter Mr Tanner's work left me speechless. The compositions of trees being observed from a back lit perspective were truly magnificent and simple all in one foul swoop. The colors varied from canvas to canvas some in intense blues, others in vibrant oranges, ripe reds, and shocking yellows, but with one under lying masterful consistency of extreme perfection. As I gazed into the paintings I felt a strange calm as I became a silent observer of Mr.Tanner's personal interpretations of nature.Feeling as if I had become an interloper, stumbling onto a secret hidden vista, time and space became non existent,as i peered into the small pieces of delight. After doing my research I was even more amazed to find that Mr.Tanner was the polite individual that welcomed us during our visit to the gallery. So if you find yourself in New Orleans I highly recommend a visit to Tanner Gallery at 830 Royal Street, you will be so glad you did. Here is a link to thier online gallery.http://www.hauntingart.com/Haunting_Art/Welcome.html
Nanoblur Rocks Hard!
Have any of you guys heard of the new product called Nanoblur?Well if you haven't than you are about to here some really good things about it from me!First off what is Nanoblur?Nanoblur is a new skin care product that is toted to give your skin a better appearance specifically used for high definition television!Because of the new high def skin flaws are not easily camouflaged leaving anyone who works on television wide open to have all there flaws displayed in high def!Enter Nanoblur,a new product composed of millions of prisms contained in the liquid that when applied to the skin creates a more uniform even appearance!First off I loved this product !!!!!!In 40 seconds it reduced the appearance of pores on my nose and cheeks by 60%!I was truly amazed!I proceeded to wear on an outing to visit family and two of my relatives noticed a difference in my skin immediately!I was thrilled! After seeing many bad reviews on youtube I was so glad I tried the product for myself.I note here that I do not wear make up on a daily basis so my results my vary in comparison to someone who does!I did try mineral powder with it and it seems to take a very small amount with the Nanoblur to get the same look without the Nanoblur,so if you do wear make up use a very light hand for a little goes a long way!Me personally I give this product 10 thumbs up for poor reduction!!!!I have never seen any product work like this one!Although the claim by the company says it makes you look 10 years younger in 40 seconds was total bull,I would swallow that bull any day to have my pores reduced as much as Nanoblur did!!!!!Try it and see for yourself and be your own judge,I think you will be quite surprised. Here is the link if your interested in this product. http://www.indeedlabs.com/nanoblur/
